We stayed at The Brown Family Retreat for 4 nights. It was a great location for day trips to national parks. The house was equipped with everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. After a day of hiking and crowds at the parks, it was nice to sit on the porch and look at the stars. The night sky was amazing! Loved this property and highly recommend it!
We spent several days here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was immaculate and well supplied with dishes, cookware and a number of cooking supplies (seasonings, oils, etc.). BBQed all three evenings. Not far from town where there are restaurants, two good groceries, gas, Redbox, etc. Close to several national parks. Great base for touring and hiking. TV has lots of channels plus access to Netflix, plus a DVD player.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house had everything that we needed and more than enough space for two single people. The two living areas were great if you needed to have some separate space. The location was perfect for visiting the National Parks and some interesting sights locally. Very close to the downtown area which had some nice restaurants and shopping available so we were able to put together any meals at the house or take with us on our daily outings. I would highly recommend this home if you are looking for a central location for the parks.
We loved the secluded privacy the Brown Family home offered. It was just the right size for our family of 6. The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials for our week long stay. Lots of clean towels and extra blankets too. The house feels like in the middle of nowhere, but still very conveniently close to some grocery stores, gas stations and restaurants. We were thankful for the menus and brochures to different national parks around that made our stay easier. We fell in love with Kanab, it was the most central location to all the parks we were visiting... Grand Canyon North Rim, Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce National Park and Zion National park all within an hour or hour and half drive from Kanab. We will be back to make this trip time and again and recommend The Brown Family Retreat to anyone visiting Kanab.
Great location on quiet road yet quick access to the highway. The house feels very roomy thanks to the open floor plan and skylights. Great location to expolre southern Utah and northern Arizona. You van relax and watch the sunset from the front deck.
Great location, spacious house
Very nice house with an open floor plan and skylights make the house feel open and inviting. Plenty of room for 8 people. The location is excellent, on a quiet road with immediate access to the main highway. After a day of exploring the parks you can enjoy the sunset over Kanab from the front porch.
